Meet Golden Mouse Honoree – Kathy Koch, Ambit Advertising

"Kathy Koch Golden Mouse Honoree"Kathy is founder and president of Ambit Advertising and Public Relations.

She opened Ambit in Pittsburgh while she was in her twenties and within three years, had grown the agency to be one of the city’s largest. Specializing in marketing office buildings and shopping centers, Ambit’s clients spanned more than a dozen states.

Moving to Fort Lauderdale in the late ‘80s, Ambit expanded its range to serve clients in tourism, real estate, financial services, business and government. The agency, located in a warehouse in FAT Village, has won local and national recognition for imaginative and effective marketing campaigns.

Kathy is a board member of the Broward Workshop, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, Tower Forum and the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. She is incoming chair of Henderson Behavioral Health. She chaired the Coordinating Council of Broward, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, Women’s Executive Club, and was co-chair of the Business Climate & Competitiveness Pillar of Six Pillars Broward County.

Kathy received the Florida Achievement Award from the Florida Commission on the Status of Women for serving as a positive role model for women and girls, and was named Business Woman of the Year and one of South Florida’s Most Influential Business Women by the South Florida Business Journal. She has been honored as an Ultimate CEO; a Woman of Distinction – March of Dimes; and Woman of the Year – Women in Communications.
